Fia Cullen is passionate about acting, dancing, and singing since the age of 3. She's a fun, quick-witted, tech-savvy. Her acting journey began when she starred as a little fish in The Little Mermaid the Musical. By age 4, she had already made her first appearance on a television production set, filming a flashback scene for the successful web series The Unwritten Rules Season 3.
Fia's dedication to her craft became clear when, at the age of 7, she decided to seriously pursue work in film and television after filming her first commercial. Since then, she has showcased her talents in television, commercials, theater, musicals, and movies. One of her favorite roles was playing the princess in the opening number of Matilda because it was a fun role to play and she loved her costume. Fia loves the camaraderie behind the scenes with her fellow cast mates in musical theatre. Her favorite moments during theatre productions are the last rehearsal before opening night and the excitement of opening night. Additionally, she has performed live for thousands of people, whether presenting announcements, performing musical numbers, speaking to adults, or engaging individually with kids about theater. Her experience and versatility make her a skilled presenter.
Fia is also a co-host of The Talky Talk Show, an edutainment-focused program, and was one of the co-hosts of Lalaloopsy Let's Create, a vibrant and whimsical web series where the hosts engaged in various crafting activities. She has appeared on Abbott Elementary as a school kid in seasons 1, 2, and 3, and is featured in the MCU as a kidnapped Asgardian kid in Thor: Love and Thunder, and has worked along side James Corden on The Late Late Show in a comedy skit for the release of Avatar. Fia has also had the opportunity to work alongside several television legends. She is a beloved member of Kids Songs Kids, an iconic TV show that started in the 80s and reemerged in the 2000s, directed by Emmy Award-winning Carol Rosenstein and the late Bruce Gowers. She particularly enjoys being on set and embraces every opportunity with enthusiasm.
Beyond Entertaining...
Fia is also a co-author with her mother and sister of the book Hey Love, Let's Journal Together. She thinks the book is a good way to build a strong bond between mothers and daughters and enjoys doing it with her mom because she likes learning new things about her and sharing different experiences and ideas. Despite her busy schedule, Fia maintains a great balance of working hard and having fun. When she's not on stage or in front of the camera, she enjoys crocheting, shopping, thrifting, swimming, reading, playing Roblox, board games, and puzzles. She loves exploring new places and loves going to church.
Here's a fun fact, Fia started karate at the age of 5 and was the youngest student at her dojo, achieving her Purple Belt before focusing fully on musical theater. She appreciates karate as a diverse life skill for self-defense and performing stunts, which adds valuable versatility to her acting. Fia continues to train in acting, music, theater, and dance, always eager for new auditions and opportunities. She also enjoys taking creative direction with her very own Talky Talk Show, and her drive to succeed is matched by her enthusiasm for every project she undertakes.
